Default Need wider wheels, any suggestions?

Hi everyone,

I currently have the stock wheels on my car and I'm looking to just use those for my winter tires and get another set of wheels for summer tires. In a perfect world I suppose I would like 17's but one inch wider than stock, so 8" in the front and 9" in the back. Since I autocross wheel weight is a big factor so they can't be too heavy either. I haven't found much online for this, can anybody help me out with some suggestions? Thanks!

Mike

stock ap2 rims, they are fairly cheap, pretty light weight, easy to come by, and you can run a 245/275 combo if you want to. i am running v1 ap2 rims next year with a 225/255 combo.

how much money are you willing to spend? Volk's are a popular choice if you are willing to fork out some cash

Take a look at the TR Motorsport F3. They are forged wheels that are lighter and stronger than stock. You can run 225/45R17 front and 255/40R17 rear with these wheels. They are also stock offsets.
If I can help let me know.

Thanks for all your help guys. Unfortunately I think volk is a little out of my price range. I'll check out the 04' and up stock wheels, too. I also found a set by SSR that look pretty decent. Any experience with them?

SSR make good wheels. No worries there.
