Default Square wheels, staggered tires

I'm currently in the market for some summer wheels, and I've come across a nice set of Volk CE28Ns for the nice price of $1500. The problem is that they're 17x7.5 +50 all around, and running 215 tires (Yokohama S.Drive). That's right in the middle of my stock sizes (205/225) and I'm worried about oversteer from the added front grip and lesser rear grip. When I replace the tires, I'd probably go for 205/45 and 225/40. That should fit on the wheels reasonably well and put me closer to the stock grip.

In the meantime, what are the dangers of running square wheels with 215 tires? I'm not a crazy driver but I do like to have fun every now and then. Any other potential issues? I'm on stock suspension and won't be changing that.

Thanks!

Don't bother. You want to be looking at wheels that are similar widths to the AP2 wheels if you want an upgrade. $1500 is not cheap especially for wheels that are really an upgrade. You would be better off buying a set of ap2 wheels.
