Default never buy from wheelsnext.com

I ordered my new wheels and tires from wheelsnext.com and it has been the biggest pain in the ass to get what i wanted. i first ordered what i wanted online. after i submitted the order it said that a customer rep. would call me within 24 hours to confirm my order....a few days go by and nothing. when i tried to call them back i was put on hold immediately for about 30 minutes before i got to talk to a person. when i finally got someone i explained my story to him, he said that he was gonna check on it and put me on hold. after another 15 minutes of waiting a different person picks up the phone and i have to explain my story all over again to him. im put on hold again while he checks on it, a few more minutes go by and he picks up the phone and says that i have to fix my billing address becauses i just moved from germany. i get his extension so i dont have to wait soo long this time after i get done calling the bank. i called the bank (which only took 5 minutes) and tried to call his extension with so success. i called no bullshit about 15 times and everytime it would ring and ring and ring and then go to his answering machine. i wait about 15 minutes and try again, after about 5 more tries i finally get an answer, i tell him that i fixed everything and he told me that he would have the wheels and tires on the way, which he said should only take 5 business days to arrive. a week and a half go by and no wheels. i call them back and am immediately put on hold for another 30 minutes. i finally get someone, explain my situation, and am told that he will check on it. he said that he couldnt find a tracking number or anything which tells me that the dip shit before never put in for the wheels. he says that he will check into it more and e-mail me the tracking number later that night. another week or so goes by and still no packages. i call back again and play the waiting game, when i get someone they check on it and finally give me a tracking number and said that they had just shipped out a couple days before. sooo the wheels are SUPPOSED to arrive today according to fedex. so we'll see how it comes out.....

but to make a long story short, dont buy from them, they suck.

anyone else had similar experiences with them?

I have no personal experience with them but I have heard numerous bad reviews on a lot of different forums. Just google "wheelsnext" and "sucks" and you will see what I mean. I get the feeling they just throw generic packages together and have no real knowledge of specific vehicle fitments. Customer service also seems to be severely lacking as you experienced. If you did your own research on fitment and knew exactly what you want then it should be fine as long as you finally get them.

before i put in my order i went around to other sites and they suggested the same fitments so im not too terribly worried about that. im just hoping they didnt **** up and send the wrong thing.

My gm at the club I work ordered a set of wheels and tires from them last year for his 350z. He waited nearly two weeks and then called. The money had been taken from his account, but the wheels had not been sent. In fact, there was NO record of his order!

He then replaced the order, which they said required that they refund the previous payment and then charge him again. Then, his wheels arrive... in a 5 lug for the front (correct), and a 4 lug for the rear (hahaha... yeah right).

They told him to send back all 4 wheels, and they would send him the correct order.

In the end, it took him nearly 6 weeks to get the wheels he had ordered.
