New AP1 Tires.....225 or 245
#11
I have SPT's on my AP2 rims for the street.
215/45-17F
255/40-17R
I have r-comps for the track so I didn't need anything too fancy for the street. I'm impressed with them. For the price they are exceptional. Turn in is a little slow but again for the price they're great and they're only for the street.

I have RS2's on my car running 205/55 and 245/45 and the dry grip is great. The wet traction is ok but don't try to push then in the wet. It pours plenty of rain down here in MIA. By the way in 1 year of use the fronts are about 50% and the rears need to be replaced in about a month or so.

People have told me they run 225/245 and have more overall grip. I don't know which would be better for the track..

That's retarded. Why cant a 225 just be a 225 and a 245 be a 245 lol. So if I was to go with the 50 sidewall, my odometer may be off a bit....but no handling negativitys?

So would it be the speedo thats aoff a bit and thats it.
Sometimes (someone correct me if I'm wrong) a >3% difference can confuse ABS.

I have the same tyre except went for 225/45/17s on my AP2 rims.
Can't imagine running anything thinner with my fsb + x-brace + AP2 suspension.

Seems pretty neutral to me with the 255's out back.
