New Tires
Just ordered some 245/45/16's for the rear (Yokahama es100). Would Honda mount them for me since they are different size than specified? Also does their equipment typically leave any marks on the wheels? The reason I'm asking is because when I had my RSX, Acura managed to scuff all four wheels at the points where they were held by the machine. Thanks.
Not be a jerk, but your putting es100's on the rear? What are in the front? If your running the OEM tires (much much stickier than es100) you better be REALLY careful and go slow on corners.
But anyways, I never go to the dealerships. My local Sears auto does a good job.
Without knowing what equipment your dealer uses to mount tires there's no way to know if they'll get messed up or not. Different dealers use different equipment.

I just had some tires swapped from my stock rims to my new ones at SEARS and I was scared at first (didn't really trust them), but I must say they did a great job. The tech placed rags over the machine to make sure he did not scuff them
The Old wheels and the New wheels left without a scratch on them.
On my previous car Just tires chipped the red paint on my RNR's on all four wheels
I will never go there again!
