Default What brake setups are you guys running?

You probably want to include type of driving in your request because that's an important factor. For normal driving, I think OEM brakes works great. For people like me who track and autoX the car, I run PBR (same as Axxis) metal masters on factory rotors. Same answer for all my other cars which also see tracks and autoX. Actually same answer for all the cars in my family.

Daily driving and ocassional auto X the stock brakes do fine. Even with track time etc... a new set of pads is all you need. BBK on this car is mainly all bling, I have never seen a set tested and proven to be better than the stock brake setup.

ok thanks. just wondering about braking capacity im thinking of supercharging mine so just checking on want else would be needed.

I would have to agree with you unless your doing endurance races but who can complain with 60% off prices.

You also may want to look at your tires. I would start there then goto the fluids, pads, lines, etc. OEM brakes are good enough. I know several members running OEM brakes with SC's and turbo setups and havent had problems at 300+hp.

street: stock everything + Motul600

track: Cobalt friction Spec VR + Motul600 (im considering installing slotted rotors for the track)
