Thumbs up Newbie here

I was wondering what will be the best tire size for this wheels that will clear even with 1 inch drop.
18 x 8.5 +38
18 x 9.5 +40

225/255



heres how a 17x9.5+40 looks like in the rear with a 255 with around a one inch drop. you need to roll your fenders

im going with similar size and offsets soon (only difference is the offset give or take a couple mm) and my final decision after weeks of researching is 225/40/18 fronts and 245/35/18 rears dropped low. i live in new england where the roads are pretty bad so i figured this will be the safest to go without stretching the tire too much. and btw toyo t1r's offer both tire sizes if your interested. anyone else want to add to this or correct me please feel free because im in the same position.
