Newbie needs some tire advice
Having lurked on the boards for the past six months, I am finally making my first post!
Here is the situation: I am planning to buy an MY02 in the next month or two and I have a couple of questions about tires on the S.
The first question is, considering that I live in the DC area, which tends to be cold and rainy in the fall, do you guys suggest I purchase S03s or all weather tires? If all weather, what tires do you suggest?
Second, keeping in mind tire life, would you guys suggest buying S03s for the Summer and switching to a set of all weathers for the rainy and cold months?
Finally, does anyone have any advice on dealers/services centers to get the car serviced in the Northern Virginia area?
Thanks for the help!

You should wait and see what tires and the condition of the tires are in when you purchase the car. I find the S03's better in the wet. They are a little less sticky than S02's, but you'd be happy with either tire. If money is an issue, it might be better to continue what the car is already wearing.
I find the car can be driven as long as the pavement is above freezing and you are careful driving. You'll drop the "sports" out of "sports car" and just have a-b transportation. A second set of wheels with snow tires would be preferred over all season if you want a 2nd set.
