Default Nitrogen vs Air

What are the pros and cons.

I picked up a new vehicle that has nitrogen in the tires, and lovely green valve caps.

I was hoping to replace the caps with something chrome or at least not green.

Is there benefits to nitrogen. Is it worth taking the S in and doing the switch.

Thanks..

I likely won't run out and switch the S2000

Now, do I have to have the ugly green caps though?

i have nitrogen on mine and I changed it to chrome to match my wheels. they only put green caps on there to tell other techs that you have nitrogen in the tires

After lots of reading, i've personally come to the conclusion to not bother unless its for pretty serious racing applications. The "gas savings" will be nothing noticable, honestly you'll have a much large change in mileage by just changing the PSI rather than what it is filled with.

Mostly its just something to sell.
