Just save up. Its pretty easy. If it took you 6 months to save a little over a thousand dollars, than you should be able to get a set of baller status rims in a year and a half. If it took you longer... well, you know how the math works.
I was in your same boat. I wanted a pair of rims cause I wanted to look as non stock as possible, so I contemplated the RPF1's, but a friend slapped me straight, and he said just save for the ones I want. CE28N's here I come

If you browse through Enkei's website, you can find some awesome lightweight wheels in S2K fitments for around $1k. Probably the route I'll be going when (if) I buy wheels.
Axis and 5Zigen will also do the trick nicely.
