is it ok to get 17 X 7.0 on front and back or 17x8.5 front andback pretty much is it ok if the width on front and back is the same

 

Not recommended. The tire width stagger should be maintained and that's only done properly with staggered wheels. If not, you risk a potentially dangerous handling situation.
