Thumbs up NSX wheels and handling

I was looking through the posts about NSX wheels on the S and came across the post about the 16"/17" set and the fact that the front would have a larger sidewall than the rear wheel and this would be detrimental to handling. How bad is the handling? Does anyone have any experience? What if you were to run 205/50-16 and 245/40-17? The sidewalls would be about the same size and the tire would only be about .8 inches shorter or .4" radius would be lost.

Any coments about handling? Any general thoughts?

Also why did Honda give the 04+ a tire with a lower tread width in the front and a larger one in the rear than the AP1s?

You would want to run 205/55R16 front and the 245/40R17 rear. You want the same overall diameter front and rear.
If I can help let me know.
