Will after market (tunner) lug nuts work on OEM wheels? I'm concerned about my spare tire.

No. OEM Wheels use ball-seat lug nuts. Aftermarket wheels use 60* Taper Conical Seat lugs. You can't use OEM Wheels with aftermarket lugs, and you can't use aftermarket wheels with OEM lugs.

if you use oem lugs on volks, itll scratch the paint off slowly, and its not safe.

Assuming you still have your stock lugs around, just keep 5 back there with the spare.
