I recently picked up 2 17x8 with a 42 offset. which I will use for the rear. Work emotions cr-Kai

I am currently looking to purchase the front rims.
I was looking into the 17x7 with +47 offset. Will this look appropriate or am I going with the wrong offset size/direction. This confuses cause people have different opinions on it.

This will look pretty even front and rear from the outside if thats what your worried about.

 

You should actually use those as front and look for some 17x9's +45 or higher for the rear.

 

I agree, too narrow for my liking, but that wasn't what he was asking.

You should roll your fenders if you run them on the front but you just need to roll the fenders front and rear.

 

17x9 only come in a 44 offset or lower.

 

9"+44 would be a good mate with the 8" +42. Roll the fenders, run near UK alignment and your golden. Run 215 or 225 and 255.

Do the rear for sure. if you run enough camber up front you may not have to roll the front. You can mount everything up when you get it and check your clearances by jacking up one corner of the car to see exactly what your facing before you go driving off.
