I have had these tires since Feb., and honestly, they are great! I just hope they last as long as the treadwear claims they will. The grip is fantastic and road noise is more than tolerable. The best part is the price!

i've had mine on for a few weeks now also. probably put 1k miles on them. I went from oem rims and oem tires to rpf1's 17x8/9 +45 with a 225/255 tire setup. i like the new tires A LOT, especially for the money. I think someone posted this already but compared to a re050PP but here's how i think they compare to oem re050's...

sidewall on the re050's seemed stiffer so the steering response felt less mushy but this is also likely because the new tires have a taller sidewall.

the ride is A LOT smoother. I've always hated that about the re050's vs s02's... this tire rides very smooth.

i notice more of the grip increase on sweeping corners as the car feels a lot more stable going around them. but normal corner entry is awesome as well.

overall i'm extremely content with this tire. i've had fuzion ZRi's on my old S for a DD tire and they sucked ass for spirited driving. The HTRZ III's are definately worth it. I normally autocross on my oem rims/tires so i don't know if i'll get to compare them on that arena but i'm sure they'll be decent. well worth the money.

if owners are deciding to get kuhmo's, falkens, bfgoodrich, fuzion, hankook, avon and not bridgestone or michelins i would look seriously at the HTR-Z3. the performance and price ratio cannot be beat.

Hi guys, I got a new set of wheels and I am considering those tires.
Rims have the following specs:
front 17 / 7.5 +40
rear 17 / 8.5 +59
I am running stock height and want to avoid rubbing, can I go with 215/255?

The fronts should be fine with a 215. I wouldn't even worry about the rears with a 255. That size and offset is VERY close to the factory AP2 rear wheel.

Thanks, the front wheels were my only concern, especially given that I plan on dropping the car a little.
