Default Ordering Hankook RS3 from TR...

Hi There

I'm ordering Hankook RS3's for my 07 S2000. I'm dropped on Espelir ASDs and was wondering if anyone can help me with alignment specs, or should the mechanics at the TireRack approved shops know what the best alignment is?

Also, will 255/40/17 fit in the rear with my drop? I'm on stock AP2 V2 wheels.

THANKS for the help!

I have your IDENTICAL setup. You are fine, the people who do your alignment will fix it so you don't rub. I had -0.5 degrees camber on the front and -2 on the rear. But yours may be slightly different.

On Espelirs, I ran:

Camber:
-1.5 front
-2.5 rear

6.7 Caster.

.1 total toe front (.05 L/R)
.2 total toe rear (.1 L/R)

255 will fit the rear just fine. Are you going to run the 225 front? I'm not sure their stock on RS-3s is plentiful in 255/40/17.

Good luck!

Thanks Barret and aCab! I'm not sure about the 225's up front... going to research it now =)

My feeling is that it may look better since the 205/245 current stock tires look way too WHIMPY now... so the 225/255 combo would definitely make it look more flush/meatier.

What do you have? Will it make my car feel slower with the added rubber weight?

Im curious, do the RS3s actually cost $125 each?! I was looking at tires, wanting the re11's the most. I just randomly checked out the prices on the RS3's, it almost made me feint . If they actually are that cheap, Ill never buy another tire again!

Yep Star Specs and R-S3's are cheap compared to Re-11's.

225/255 R-S3's work fine for me. I also run -1.5 camber F and -2.5 camber R, lowered ~1", no rubbing.

We do have the 255/40R17 listed at 125.00 each but they are on back order at this time. If I can help let me know.

I have done 2 so far this year. Absolutely incredible tire for dry grip. I ran them in the rain at Watkins Glen and they were semi slick but very predictable.
