Im thinking of painting my ap1 wheels on my black ap1. Im thinking either black or gold/bronze. Does anyone have any pics so I could see what it looks like because I haven't seen much examples. I know some of you are really against it but I cant afford another set of rims and ive seen really nice looking painted rims on other cars.

 

Nooooooo! OEM=OEM finish is the only way they look good. Just get a a set of aftermarket Rims if you want colors. IMO painted OEM Rims are tacky. There was a time when I thought my spray painted red ls webs looked good on my civic but its not a civic so my vote is leave it

 

I've thought about doing the gold/bronze on my black ap1 also. Ive only ever seen like 1-2 pics but I thought it looked really good. I'd get it done but the powdercoating is pretty expensive and there's other things I want to do to the car first.

Although because the AP1 rims are smaller...I think they would look better in black.

 

I vote white, with red inner accents for the H etc... that's what I'd like to do.

 

I'm thinking about doing my AP2 V2 wheels white with red H and res lug nuts on my NFR I think it would look ok?

 

If u can't afford new rims, u don't wanna do permanent changes to them, get some plasti dip, about $6 a can and u can change the look anytime u want... YouTube it...

 

Yea I was thinking about plasti-dip but they don't have a large variety of colors. If I do black then I might use it.

 

Do they have white plasti-dip?
