Default Pirelli PZero Nero M&S

Was looking at Tirerack.com review and they are receiving fine reviews but one thing was that most of reviews are done by FWD car drivers.

Now, does anyone run Pirelli PZero Nero M&S on their S2000? if so how do you like it? or any problems? I need performance summer tires with decent rain performance.

Currently running on Potenza RE750s and I am quite happy with it but for the price if Pirelli PZero Nero M&S does same job then I will switch. Any thoughts?

The Pirelli would not have the 245/45R16 size for the rear. They do have the 205/55R16 at 101.00 and the 225/50R16 at 100.00 each. You will loose quite a bit of handling with this set up but they will work quite well for an all season tire for the winter. If you are going to run them year round you are going to have more oversteer.
If I can help let me know.

I heard they were noisy in other cars.

Im sure you wouldn't be looking for a review anymore, but in any case... many STi owners use those tires so you might be able to see a review here: NASIOC

Jim,

The 245/45 does not appear to be available in popular all-season tires. You mentioned 225/50, but would there be any issue with rubbing or other issues if I went for a 245/50?

As far as I can tell, this would provide the same contact patch as the stock rear S-02s but would add ~ 1/2" to the diameter, which would a minor (?) impact on the speedometer reading (underregistering by a few mph I imagine).

Comments anyone?

I have these tires on my 00 Prelude and absolutely love them!! They handle well for all seaons and very, very quiet!

I like them so much that I was buying an extra set of wheels to make these the daily driver tires... I have to say that I am quite disappointed to learn that they are not available in 245/45/16's.

Now I'm off to doing some searches to see what would come close to these tires for all seasons. Wish me luck.

Thanks,

-Dave

Don't buy the nero m+S, they have the softest sidewalls i have ever SEEN!!!!!!!!! feel like your car is riding on jello around turns, also very unstable changing lanes at speed. Dont waste your money, buy dedicated summer and dedicated winter if necessary.

Avon Tech M500 is very good on wet roads, and it costs only $98 for 245/45-16 and $78 for 205/55-16.
The only problem is, it is designed in asymmetric tread and it can not be flipped inside out.

In an all season tire they are the best handling tire. They are not going to handle like the S02 but they are as good as you are going to get. If you drive the car hard go with the snow tires and performance tires.
If I can help let me know.
