I was looking for kumho mx in

245/45/16 for the rear
205/55/16 for the front

apparently they are not available in those sizes.
for those who have Kumho MX on their ap1 rims, which tire size are you using?

Why are you so set on the MX?

You could put 225/50-16 on the rear, since kumho doesn't offer a 245/45. But the stagger won't be the same as stock. You'll end up with even more oversteer. Probably not a great idea unless you have a stiffer front sway bar.

IMO you're better off getting a different tire.

I recently mounted a set of Hankook RS-2s, and I like them alot. Very sticky, predictable, fairly quiet and slightly softer ride than the SO2s. I can't comment yet on wear. Every tire test i've seen has rated them above the MX. They're cheaper than MX's and half the price of stock SO-2s.

 

Check the Fuzion ZR1;very good tires for the prices,and they have the sizes to fit AP-1.

 

With the Kumho it will be the 205/55R16 and 225/50R16. They are a very good handling tire with similar characteristics to the S02 that came on the car.
