Finally got them test fitted for track day next week. Also did an alignment today. Bad news is there is some inner metal to metal rubbing on the front left wheel at full left turn lock. Quick check revealed it is the inside lip of the wheel probably rubbing against the lower control arm. I need to remove the wheel for a better look. This is with 235/40/27 fronts. If I had 255/40/17 fronts, maybe the tire would rub instead of the wheel itself! I am rubbing camber of -1.8 fronts and -2.4 rears. Rubbing still occurs. Good news is the wheels look great on the car. A word of caution, the wheels are painted but there is no clear coat so the paint does chip easily.

Would Stoptech BBK or Wilwood clear these wheels?

Just as an FYI, Discount Tire Direct has a $100 online savings on these wheels. Makes them only $80 less than the Tire Rack wheels shipped. I'm ordering a set before the month is out.

Discount tire also has these in the exact same offsets, but in 18" (18x9.5 +63 18x7.5 +45). Is there any reason no one has tried this yet (besides the weight increase). It could look great. I like the idea of going with the +63 all around for the ability to rotate. I'm lucky if l get 10k on my rear tires. I'm on my 4th set!

18.2 on a 9" 17 wheel is NOT BAD at all. It's actually really good for the price.
