howd you remove the gun metal?
looks good on white
Sanded it down and repainted it bright silver, I wanted to keep the OEM color scheme

though they looked very nice w/the gun metal, it was a hard choice,

I think the polished/gunmetal color looks best on black s2ks IMO

Looking at that last picture, it seems like the gun metal contrast w/ the polished face makes the wheel look bigger than the polished/silver color combo.

i like the silver looks unique.. im thinking about getting another set non staggered in bronze but im worried about having to change the suspension with 255s up front being that its an ap1? how do you guys feel the difference in the 255s with the stock suspension on ur ap1s?
the staggered set i have now felt amazing on the track so im afraid to mess with it and go non stag

This looks really good. What tire sizes are on the wheels? Are you running non staggered?

I honestly think you'll have to run stiffer spring rates up front or the largest sway bar you can find to go without stagger on your tires. With my AP1, I'm all stock on the suspension other than the monster sway bar, and even with it set to 4/5 stiffness I get a bit of tail wag at extreme side loads. My setup is eventually going to have about an 80% ratio (rear/front rates) for stiffness plus the sway bar. That seems to work pretty well on the local autocross guys' cars.

Camber and a bit of toe in the rear helps out a ton. I bet you could get the car back to neutral with just an alignment and your comptech. I am 515lbs front and rear with -2 front and -2.5 rear.

Not bad at all weight wise. I just intsalled Enkei RPF1 SBC 17x9 + 45 with 255/40/17 Dunlop Star Specs and the weight was 42 lbs.
