Be careful with powder coating. The heat that is used can soften the wheel. We had a customer that powder coated an SSR wheel and didn't tell us and we took the wheel back because they were bending. SSR tested the wheel and found that the heat was the cause. If the powder coater is not careful with the heat you can have a problem.

Jim,
Have any idea what temp range to stay under when powerdercoating? I was under the assumption that all wheels were powdercoated instead of painted these days.

I do not have any idea what the limit is. You are correct on the wheels being powder caoted but if they don't keep an eye on the time and heat they can damage the wheel. Also the SSR wheel is heat treated which causes a problem.
I hope this helps

Jim
