Default problem running 245/50/16 instead of 45/16?

I ordered the avs es 100s in 50/16. Am I going to have problems with +49 offset wheels with this one?

Thanks guys.

Why did you go 245/50/16?

The overall diameter will be bigger.
If you are lowered, you have a good chance of rubbing with +49mm offset.

I thought our oem tires were 225/50/16. Is this not true?

The stock tires are 225/50-16 and have the contact patch of a 245/45-16 tire.(*Read Correct Rear Tire Size at top of this forum*). It may rub a little bit, but I don't think it'd be too bad.

The 245/50R16 is just about 1" taller than stock. On top of speedometer and odometer error I am pretty sure the tires are going to rub. You also will be gearing the car differently.
It is not a good thing.
