Default 30.5K miles on origional fronts - a record?

I replaced the rear tires last year after about 16K miles. The fronts still have tread on them but will soon need to be replaced (along with the rears). I've never heard anyone on this thread mention going this many miles on the origional tires.

Can anyone beat it?

I think it is the best I have heard of. Let me know if I can help with the new tires.

Hey, you guys need to learn how to drive your cars. Then you'll be replacing your tires at 12,000 miles like the rest of us.

I have 33,800 miles on my original front tires. They need to be replaced.

The rear tires were replaced with 245/45-16 S-03's at 24,782 miles (cost $385.09) and now they need to be replaced again after only 9,000 additional miles.

This is an substantial expense for me that I did not expect when I bought the car.

Same here, it seems like money keeps pouring out into the car every few months. Now I gotta get all new tires, and brakes... should run over a $1k...

Oh well, it's a great car, right?
