Default Ques on tire sizes on a 18"

i just grabbed on a used ce28n with sizes on 18x7.5 50 offset and 18x8.5 47 offset on the rear.
but seems like i need to replace the tires on it.. right now it has 225/40 on the front and 235/40 on the back..
i know the front is ok but the shouldnt it be better if i put on 245/35 sized tires on the rear? my cars dropped about an inch without any mods on the rear fender (but will eventually get the back rolled) or should i just go 245/40 with rolled fenders?

The 245/35R18 on the rear is a much better size. You now have a taller tire on the rear of the car than stock.
