Default Please help! w/ tire selection on 18in rims!

I'm looking at gettting the Ray's G-Games 77W 2-Piece and there are some things i can't figure out: 1. if the rims will work (i think the size and offsets are ok i was researching the tire size guide quite a while ), and 2. Will the tires i'm looking at work? Please help! Oh, and i don't know if it matters tons, but i've got a AP1.
Doh! Heres the sizes:

18X7.5 +50 front w/ 225/40
18X8.5 +50 rear w/ 255/45

or i was thinking

215/35s front
245/40s rear

I'm on stock ride height, so i'd hope there is no rubbing w/ these offsets, i'm not a big fan of the rim sticking out of my fender any idea if that'd happen with these offsets and tire size?

thanks a ton,
-Marty

The wheel offests are fine..................Your tires are backwards though, you want the 40 series in the rear and the 45 in the front, or the 35 series in the back and the 40 in the front.

Example:

front 225/45
rear 255/40

front 215/40
rear 245/35

Another option, and a good combination of the two would be:

front 225/40
rear 245/35

What if i just did 40 series all the way around would that make my car sit funny?
for example
225/40
245/40

thanks,
-Marty

The rear's will be too tall if you go with 40 series with the 245 width.

Actually, you can go 40's all the way around without any problem. Hers a pic of some Gramlights I had on and I believe the wheelspecs were the same as your looking at, with Fuzion ZRi's in the 40 series all the way around.
