Does anyone know how long and how far I can go with Slicks.. What i mean is..

I live about 30mins from the Track and I wanted to know if I can put on my slicks and go to the track from my house.. and How long do slicks useally last.. thanks

Are you taliking about R compound track tires that are DOT approved or are you talking about slicks?

There are drag radials that you could drive to the track no problem. A regular slick I would not recommend it. They are very easily damaged by anything on the street.
