Hi my car is currently lowered by 1 or 2 inches, I'm not sure. I have the stock springs and I want to bring it back to stock height (previous owner did current set up). What kind of alignment (Specs) or what do I need to do to keep the current alignment? It's set up for Even wear around the tires. I don't race or track or canyon run, just going to be using it for daily driving. I would keep it at current height to avoid the hassle but there are a few dips and bumps that are pushing it so I need a higher ground clearance.

 

Stock alignment specifications is perfect for what you need.

If you don't have any problems now, you certainly won't at stock height. Raising the car will naturally add positive camber, just get it aligned afterward to make sure toe is in spec. Rob.ok is right, just get it aligned to stock spec and you will be fine.

 

I went to a Honda dealer and they said spring change + alignment = $750

I decided to keep the height but I'm wondering if that's spring change + alignment, wouldn't an alignment cost around $400-600?
Is that normal? or is that dealer just overpriced?

That is a ridiculous price. Alignments usually run $50 to $150 depending where you go.

 

no they are probably charging you ~$500 for the spring install and then ~$250 for the alignment.

obviously it's overpriced, what else would you expect from the dealership?

I did a spring install with a friend (on his car) and it only took like 2-3 hours for it.

And yes I do have the springs.

So if I ever need an alignment in the future, I should look for one around $50-150?
