Default A question for alignment professionals.

From what I can gather, we can set our rear toe in anywhere from -2mm to -8mm and still be within "factory specs." The lesser the toe in, so the stories go, the longer the rear tire life. BUT the greater the toe in, the more planted the rear end is on tight and fast curves, so the story goes.

My question is this: exactly how does rear toe in effect rear end handling? I don't understand the relationships here, and am curious about them.

Thanks
Richard
