Default Question on changing sheel width.

i was looking into some 17" whells, 7.5 in the front and 8.5 in the rear. roughly an inch wider on all sides but is that going to be detrimental to my ride and handling quality?

not really. just keep them staggard as best you can - with wider wheels in the rear.

you can go up to 8.5" in the front and 10.5" in the rear. I'd only recommend 8" and 10" personally. If you are interested in a particular set of wheels, or custom built wheels, let me know.

If you are talking about the ride quality of going to 17" from the factory 16" then yes the ride will be stiffer. I don't think it is objectionable and you will improve your handling and the looks with the 17".
If I can help with a specific application let me know.
Thank you
