Default Quick question

I just bought a 2000 S2000 and I need to replace the rears as one of the tires that's currently on the car is damaged beyond repair.

I've heard many complaints about the life of the OEM SO-2 and was looking at buying the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3.

My question is:

1. Is the Goodyear a good upgrade?
2. What size would I get seeing as the SO-2 has a 8.5" contact patch?

Best to stick with the same tire model front and back. So replace all four or get another pair of oem's for the rear. The Eagle F1 will be an improvement as far as wet goes but its tough to beat the bridgestones dry handling. If you do go goodyear you would want the 245 in the back.

The Goodyear tires are not a good handling set up in the 16". The rear tire is about 1/2" narrower than the stock tires. They also are not going to last any longer on the rear of the car.
If I can help let me know.
