Those wheels are distributed through Discount Tire Direct . Comparable to Enkies or Konigs. Bad news though, it will not fit on an S2000 with only a 40 offset.

Wonder why DTD has them listed under applicable for the S2K then? Hmmmm Oh well, don't know if I can trust the build quality of a wheel that cost less than a hundred scooby's anyway.

They list them based on the original 205/225 sizes without consideration for the construction characteristics of the OEM S0-2. Bear in mind, most of these large market tire/wheel shops will only consider tire sizes and bolt patterns when determining appropriate fits. Tire Rack is the exception. Nine of of 10 shops you speak to when discussing S2000 tire and wheel info have no idea the S0-2 tread width is that of a 245 OR the fact that the OEM offsets are 55/65 front to back. If you fit an ET40 16x7 wheel on your S2000 (in most cases, based on say, a 16x7 wheel) with a 205/55/16 tire you will go outboard .6 inches, increase tire track by more than an inch (1.18 I believe) and add 15mm of additional clearance between your wheel and the strut housing. The outside edge of the wheel, as I said earlier, will extend an additional 15mm (.6 inches). You can do it, but you probably wouldn't be able to lower the car unless you went with a smaller diameter tire on that wheel.
There is a difference between not recommending that wheel based on performance and not recommending it based on asthetics. Here is a pic of my car with a 205/45/17-inch front tire on a wheel that is 17x7.5, ET40. The rears are 18x7.5 ET42. Not for everyone, but these Blitz-style Velox VX-K gunmetal wheels have worked fine for me. However, I'm taking them off though in the spring because I'm going with a new tire/wheel combo. 16-inch 13.5-lb wheels with new 19.5-lb tires. The 17-inch Velox's weigh 23-lbs in the front and the 18's weigh 25-lbs. I'll be dropping some SERIOUS unsprung weight with this new combo especially since the tires I have on the car now weigh 25-lbs in the rear and 23.5-lbs in the front. Needless to say, with this huge weight loss and other goodies I have planned this spring, I'm looking forward to one quick S2000 this year.

Before you make any decision, read the Forum NOTE thread about tire/wheel purchasing decisions. A few dissenting opinions but all with points of validity. If you drive your car as a "show car" you can do it, if you drive it aggressively, best to stay with wheels that tuck nicely and tires that are staggered appropriately. Some folks don't like low offset wheels based on looks alone while hardcore drivers feel it compromises handling. The former is an asthetic opinion best left to the owner, the latter is a valid one.
