RE070's outperformed RE01'Rs!
If you have any doubts about this tire pick up the latest edition of Best Motoring with the new Civic Type R on the cover.
They did a test on them and I was impressed

Since it's application is so limited you probably won't get many reviews, or any that are constructve. If you can find it BMI did an enduro Challenge with a WRX Sti Spec C, and NSX-R as some of the entrants. See if you can find it.

RE070 vs. RE01R

Honsetly the times were so close....

Tirerack should carry these tires in our sizes once the CR comes out. 215 and 255 is the OEM size for the CR... I would use the 255 of the CR and the 225 of the STI...

However, I love my Advan Neova AD07.. They grip like crazy. If the RE070 are really better than the RE01Rs, then they would be worth a shot.

I highly doubt the RE070 would outgrip the RE01R, though it should be better in the wet. And they both have 140 treadware IIRC.

jus get some toyo proxxes. no point on getting street tires to use on the track.
if you arent tracking your car then jus stick to the cheapo kumho or hankook tires. if you want something slightly better oem is my choice.
