Default re anodizing bronze Volks?

ok, so I just bought a set of TE37s from a friend for a steal of a price, and TE37s are my all time favorite wheel on the s2k. The only problem is that they're white, and I REALLY want bronze TEs. Now I understand that volk anodizes their bronze wheels, and painting/powder coating would be extremely hard to match the original bronze. Would I be able to take my wheels to an anodizing shop with another wheel as example and have the shop match it very closely? obviously it doesn't have to be perfect since I'll be doing all 4, but I want it as close as possible. I have no experience with anodizing so any input would be appreciated.

Not many places anodize bronze. Best bet is to call around. If the wheels have already been painted/powdercoated they would need to be completely stripped prior to anodizing.

anodizing is a completely different process than painting.

You can just sell them to me if you don't want them.

The process that Volk uses for their bronzing is called Hard Anodizing, and cannot be re-finished. Thats why if you abuse your bronze Volks they are damaged for good and you can never come close to the same bronze colour.

IMO dont destroy perfectly good TE37s which are worth a tonn of money. Leave them original and sell them if you want different wheels.

Just an FYI, I believe the bronze is a standard decorative sulfuric type II anodize process. Hard anodizing is typically gray in color and has a differnt (more industrial) look than sulfuric anodized parts. If you can easily scratch the surface it's not hard anodized.
