Ready to Reinstall
So I did a thing.. I have been going through my 2006 doing some deferred and required maintenance, you know all those little things that the car needs after 105k miles. Years ago I powder coated my AP2 V1 wheels a bronze and honestly hated it.. so during this "restoration", I decided to tackle my wheels! Let me know what you guys think.

I'm going with black lugs and thinking of leaving the center caps off or painting them black...

The first pic was the plastidip after like 4 years and not washing them.. Def like the new color and finish WAYYY Better!!! LOL!
I bought the car sight unseen from a dealer in Oregon, my buddy test drove it for me, those are the wheels that came with the car. I personally prefer the AP2 V2 over the V1 but I'm working with what I got.
Someone in my area powder-coated their AP2 V1 wheels the same Gunmetal Gray and put the original silver OEM center caps back on......looks nice. You can always paint them or plasti-dip to match or black.

I also powdercoated my ap2v1 wheels gun metal and spray painted the center cap with gun metal paint. Love the gun metal with metallic flakes. Help a lot on brake dust from showing vs stock silver as well.
