Default Rear tire question

So I got a set of new Volk CE28N's which are 18 and I have Kumho XS Series Semi Slick wheels. The car is Ap2 ; and after the installation, the rear tires are the same with front tires ; they are both 225/40/18. Stock rear tires are 245 as you all know ; so would it be a problem to lower the back to 225?

Thanks guys.

I'm confused by your post. I run Kuhmo XS tires, what are Kumho XS Series Semi Slick wheels

And I don't understand what advice your looking for, your asking if you can safely run 225 tires in the rear, but you are already running them?

You would be better off with the 245/35R18 or 255/35R18 rear but the 225/40R18 on the rear will work fine.
