Default rear tire size

ok so I read all that size about instead of using the 225/55/16 that we should be using the 245/45/16 if not using OEM tires....and that supposedly its cuase the stock 225s arent really 225s.....is it bad to run a 225 thats not stock??? cuase I have been all the time and never had stock tires to begin with cause I bought it used.....so is it that big a difference and using 225 none stock tires...is it bad??

A 225 non-OEM tire will simply give you about 20mm less width of rubber on the road. This would make your car a little bit more tail happy when pushed.
