Default Rear tires only?

Jim or anyone else in the know,

How bad would it be to just get rear S03's in 245 while leaving the stock SO2's in the front?

These tires only have about 10,000 miles on them but the rears have to go. Should I just get all four or what?

Thanks

There have been a number of posts against mixing tire types. I've not seen one that indicated they had acceptable handling.

Most people will replace the rears with S02 OEMS then replace all four when the fronts wear out. Jim will most likely make the same recommendation

Petraidm is correct. You won't hurt your car by mixing them and day to day driving is not affected much but when some one pulls out in front of you and you reach the limits that is when the differences will show up.
Let me know if I can help.

Thanks for the replies. The thing is I just hate having to get rid of two good tires in the front. And at the same time I don't trust the SO2's in the rain at all. I guess I'm just stuck at having to get 4 tires then?
