Default Reo-1r in front with s03 in back

What do u guys think of this setup... I have brand new 255/40/17 s03 in the rear, and was lookin to gettin bigger tires in the front with the re0-1r in the front, possibly upgradin to a 225/40/17 on my stock AP2 rims... or should i get OEM fronts and leave it like that?...any input or suggestion would help.

Get matching front and rear tires. Do not mix. If you have S03 on the rear, get S03 for the front. or change all four.

no really, you unbalence the car and risk running it off the road, and wrapping it around a tree, and then dieing.

Putting lesser grip tires in the rearend will cause you to be more prone to oversteer, never mix and match tires on this car. NEVER

If you're looking for some new tires, Honestly I would look into the Hankook RS2's, Falken Azenies, or yes just keep with the OEM tires, but there is a huge difference between the RE01's and the S03's.

you can put any tires on the car that you want. Just understand that handling will be affected in one way or another. I am running s02s on the front and toyo t1s on the rear. I track the car pretty frequently and I really like this set up. I found the s02 (rears) snappy. They were not very forgiving, maybe because of the squared off shoulders. The t1s is very rounded and gives more before it losses total grip.

Best guess is that the car will have some more oversteer with the sticky 01rs in front and less sticky s03 on the rear.
