Default Replacing Fronts - Want to Match RE050APP Rears

I am replacing my front tires (Bridgestone S-03 PP) but have plenty of tread left on the rears which are Bridgestone Potenza RE050A PP tires. These are not available in the stock front size 205/55R16.

The car has stock suspension and wheels. It's mostly used on the street, but I have taken it to the track. Wet traction is equally as important as dry to me.

What tire is most closely matched in traction and handling to my rear RE050A PP tires? I'd consider other brands, but my first preference is something within the Bridgestone lineup.

Thanks in advance!

For wet traction and Bridgestone preference, RE11A > ZII. I'm about to get 225/50-16 RE11A rears for my '01

I would lean toward the RE-11 because of the wet traction. You can also go with the 245/45R16 on the rear for improved handling.
If I cna help let me know.
