GTMotoring had 17x9 +40 RE30s front and rear with the J's Racing BBK.
Front fenders will require a flare and rear will require a roll. Tire size used were 245/40/17 RE01-R but I would personally use a 255/40/17.

I do not think they will clear but I doubt anyone has done the calculations or test fitted them. If I remember correctly the 17x9 +45 clears or needs a small 3mm spacer. I pretty sure that is what the original C-West car was running. Again though it needs fender mods but its rather easy to do.

A word of advice....if you are going to be using these brakes on the track I would suggest using a 9 inch wheel up front. With a 225 tire you will not get any benefit over the OEM brakes other than the quick pad changes.

Thanks for your answer Rob.

So one question, actually I've got this rims (but I still have not checked on the car) Work Emotion Cai en 18X8,5 +42 y 18x9,5 +38 with R888 front 235/40 and R888 Rear 265/35v(if finally I set up this rims, rear I'll put 255/35).

What dou you think about using those rims and wheels?. Advantages or inconvenients from your point of view.

Thanks.

No idea without knowing the offset. I would go a head and do a test fitting and see how much clearance you have should take just an hour. Generally you can always use a spacer if there isn't enough clearance. If you need more than 3mm though you will and should change the studs to extended studs.

So sorry Rob, post updated with offset.

With these rims (Work Emotion) the J's racing fits without spacers, my concern is about the performance of the car.

Yes, yes I know that these rims fits, but my concern it's about the performance of the car with those huge wheels (235 and 255).

Several people is telling me that the perfomance whith these Work rims is going to be bad and besides of this I have to roll my fenders, so, because of this I'm wondering to change to 17".

So Leo, how it's your car with these rims?.

Thanks

take a look at the pictures..

as for performance, i am kinda like it, i feel more agresive at corners, but diff more stability on high speed..

getting more driver feeling, also a little stiffer than the 17 wheels.

i am running
235/35
265/35
OEM alignment.
but u need serious pulled at the the rear.

Great pictures Leo, fantastic car.

Is it your car "turbed"?.

I guees that with those rims my car is going to experiment a lot of lack of performance (mines N/A)
