Rota DPT or Torque?

I don't mind rotas they do look good.
-They ARE cheap, but they ARE NOT cheaply made..There is a difference, these rotas are only cheap because labor is cheaper in the Philippines im sure (same concept why lots of stuff is made in China)
-They are nice looking and really close to the "real deal" but don't push it by putting Volk, Work, Advan etc etc stickers on them and we're good.

I wouldn't go as far as calling rota wheels cheaply made, perhaps made inexpensively. Plus R&D costs are probably much lower since they copy popular wheel designs. Marketing them is probably just as inexpensive since the real wheel companies pay for advertising and people are fine with finding adequate copies. The RE30 knockoff is really really close, I wish they made the RSwatanabe copies in 16-17" for track use.
I've never seen any Rota's in person (or knew it was) but the wheels are JWL certified so they meet the standards for wheels.

I tested out my 17x9 +42 Rota DPT from my Subaru the other day. The tires are too tall but I think they'll work with something shorter. 255/45/17 rubbed bad in the rear but not in front. Suspension is stock besides a 32mm front swaybar.
(yes, I know the car is dirty and the rear wheels are on backwards )

anybody on 18" DPT ?
(need offset and size )
I'm hesitating too,
Rota P1 (silver ? white)
Rota DPT (silver,black,white)
Rota D2 (black with silver lip, silver ?)
on my black S2k, too many colors, too many sizes, but I want 18"

there's nothing wrong with rotas...go for it....our car is not a luxury car..if you are driving a bmw or benz yah don't buy rota but we only have a s2000..nothing's special...
This is how I feel as well. These cars are no where near luxury, so really, who gives a crap? But for real though, I bet 80% of the cars on this message board have never been driven on the track, including myself.
