Default Rota Grid Question

Hi guys, new to the forum and just had a quick question.

I've researched around loads and used the wheel fitment guide on the site but can't get a 100% definitive answer anywhere. I've got an AP1 s2000, stock body and ride height and I want to fit a set of Rota Grid rims. The setup I'm looking at is:

Front:
17" 7.5" ET45 with 205/45/17 tires.

Rear:
17" 9" ET42 with 245/40/17 tires.

I messaged rota and they stated that the rear arches would need work to have these fit but didn't seem too confident in their response. So based on everyone's experience will I be able to fit these without having to modify the arches in any way?

Thanks.
Rob

Nope. You will need to roll the fenders and relocate the bumper tabs.

You should also plan on using a 215/45/17 tire on the front as well. This will match diameter front and rear.

I had planned on running same setup as the OP on my stock s2000 AP1, but with wider tyres, so:

Front:
17" 7.5" ET45 with 225/45/17 tires.

Rear:
17" 9" ET42 with 245(poss 255)/40/17 tires.

Going to relocate rear tab and roll fenders. Any issue with fitment on the stated tyre width? Was thinking of 1.5 degree camber?

Anyone running similar setup who can post photos to show arch clearance?

And will these wheels clear spoon callipers without the nees for spacers?

Sorry to threadjack but seemed pointless posting an identical thread...
