Default Rota Slipstream

I DECIDED TO GO WITH 17' ROTA SLIPSTREAMS. I JUST NEED TO KNOW WHICH ONE I SHOULD GET FOR FRONTS AND REARS. THEY HAVE:
17X7.5
17X8
17X8.5

FOR THE TIRE TIRE SIZE, WHICH SIZES WILL NOT EFFECT MY ACCELERATION COMPARED TO STOCK?? CAN I GO 215 FRONT AND 245 REAR??

Been discussed a million times. It's not a great fitment, you'll need to keep your tire sizes on the smaller side. I think you'll still have problems in the rear.

i really liked the rims. do you think it will look real bad on the car. will it come out like 1cm on each side for the rears?? I think front should be fine with 48 offset. I will also be installing lowering spring to the car.

I don't think rota makes 17/8 17/8.5 in slipstreams.. I think it is only 16/7 16/8 and those fit..look for the post is this forum..4 pages back i think

All depends on what you consider "fitting"

i mean does it look really bad?? i never saw a rim with 60mm offset. if i use the 48 offsets for front and rear, will i have a lot of problems with rubbing?? BTW Rota makes 17x8 and 17x8.5 in Slipstreams

They do make those fitments. I would go for the 17 x 7.5 in the front and 17 x 8.5 in the back. You can check out this website to see the fittings, its at the bottom: Slip streams here

But I think it would be better to go with the 7.5 wide up fornt but it has diffrent hub bore size (67.1mm & 73mm) for that size than 8.0 and 8.5 do (56.1mm) does this make a big diffrence? What is the hub bore size? I planning on getting the 17's soon as well. I think these are definitly not near to great offsers for the s2k, but that they should work out well enough. Any one else have any other insight?

If the wheel has a hubbore size of 56.1, they will not fit on the S2000 (I mean you will not be able to mount the wheel on your S2000, so fitment is a non-issue). The wheel hubbore size should match the S2000 hubbore size (a hubcentric fit) or be larger so the wheel will actually go on the car.

damn, that kind of rained on my parade. I was going to pick up a set of 17x7.5 +48 and 17x8 or 8.5 +48 Rota D2's. Well I'm glad i found out they don't fit fit before i bought them. Man now i'm on the hunt again for inexpensive wheels that look good (until i can afford a really nice set )
