as you can see in my pic....its not caused by an accident fromt another car........the wheel's poor quality couldn't handle the weight of the car and the spokes broke from the wheel itself........

I had 5 sets of rotas on my previous cars. all daily driven and beaten to hell at tracks. not one single problem. the thing was i didnt have one worry going over potholes, dips and such. i even hit a curb going 50 mph with just a few scratches. the tires was blown to hell, but no cracks or nothing. I just dont understand everyone hating rota, while they sport replica cf hoods, lips, intakes, header, spoilers etc. I could go on and on....
true.....whats a replica wing going to do besides not perform as good as its original....whats replica seats going to do besides the quality not being so great?.....but wheels im sorry but you cant CHEAP out on....its a saftey hazzard if these wheels have broken more than just a few times......performance is also changed by wheel specs, and quality is top notch with HRE,VOLKS, ETC.!!!!

I had a set of Rota Circuit 8s on my DA Integra, and I subjected those wheels to hell...and never had a problem with them. They did their job well, for what it's worth.

Although, I must admit that if you're looking for a quality wheel, up there in the likes of HRE, Prodrive, Volk, etc., then look elsewhere...but that's to be expected from a "entry-level" type wheel manufacturer.

I believe its because they will not be able to compete with the pricing of the wheels compared to those in the market. they have to make money too

I'm all for putting Rotas on a budget type car such as my Civic but I don't think I'd rock Rotas on my S2000........the S deserves much better wheels.

isn't HRE banned at a lot of track events because of that. and if im not mistaken so is kenesis.

and SSR's had a big problem with that too before they changed the way they were manufactured..

bottom line, wheels crack, bend, etc... whether your wheels cost $500 or $5000

i dont have a problem putting rotas on my S, im only 21 and i cant afford 3000 dollars rims, and if i could i definately wouldnt buy rims, maybe a supercharger or turbo instead. and if i was parked next to someone who had 3000 dollar rims and i had rotas, and the average eye couldnt tell, than i guess rotas FTW. hahaha

I see abrasion marks on the spokes. Looks like it might have come up against a curb or something.
