Just saw some rota WTC wheels looks new from rota. In 17x7.5 +45 and 17x8 +48 what do ya think for track wheels with star specs in 225 and 255 stuffed on em??? Decent looking wheel wonder the weight. What do you guys think??

For dedicated track wheels in a class that doesn't restrict wheels to stock widths, I'd want wider wheels with higher offsets. Minimum 8" fronts and 8.5" rears, preferably 9" fronts and 9.5" rears.

I'd go with AP2 rears all around for track wheels over the wheels you mention. Kinda heavy, but cheaper and you can run wider tires.

If you're running street tires at the track anyway, I'd say just run your stock 16" wheels with 205/225 Star Specs on them. Certainly wouldn't bother spending $$$ on new "track" wheels just to run street tires on them.

Yeah, you are killing the rear with the 8" rim. The oem AP2 rears are 8.5".

I dont think you can fit a 255 on a 8 inch wide rim?

yeah good advice maybe ill pick up some cheap ap2 wheelsand put some r comps on em
