I can find a lot of info regarding 17x8 RPF1s and Stoptechs but nothing on 17x8.5. Does anyone have any experience or info regarding whether this will clear or not?

 

Hi, I posted a thread on rpf1 8", offset +35 to see if it has the extra 10mm clearance compared to +45.
s2000junky replied that 8.5" +40 would have good clearance for bbk. Anyone else can confirm? I am about to purchase 8.5" +40.

I measured 1.5" clearance from the oem caliper with these wheels on my car. So unless your running an oversized disc that does not fit with a 17" wheel, these 8.5 +40 rpf's should have more then enough clearance for a BBK. These wheels were made for them due to their offset and convex design. 1.5" gives you a reference point however, if you still need to clarify with a BBK rep of various manufactures.
