Ya I figured lowering would help add some camber to it but at stock height it just makes it look too wide to fit. Thanks for the input guys

If you relocate your bumper bolt, roll the fender and trim the bumper they will clear with stock camber. But yea, they stick out a little

yep i've trimmed the bumper and relocated the bolt. Next step is to put the coilovers in then take it to get the fenders rolled and the alignment done. Hopefully after all thats done it will fit as its supposed to. I'm also definitely going to run some camber, I'm hopin to keep it to 1-1.5 in the front and 2-2.5 rear. Don't really wanna do any more aggressive camber than that.

So I'm kinda baffled here, I picked up a set of RPF1's 17x8 w/ 225 front and 17x9 w/ 255 rear. I'm at stock height while I'm waiting for my buddy club coilovers to get here this week so all I'm doing is test fitting these wheels. Yesterday I maxed out the stock camber bolts but still the 255 in the rear sticks out like an inch past the fender. I know that lowering will give me a bit more help with adding some camber but I'm still skeptical that they will fit. I've seen like 100's of people fit these wheels and say with rolled rear fenders they can fit a 255 with like 2.5 neg camber but I'm not seeing it. Can anyone share any insight on if lowering will help add enough camber to make these fit?

Thanks
Jeff
A +45 offset on a 9" rear wheel is going to stick out. I bought a set a year ago and only test fit them. I didn't like looking like a Mexican low rider. If you want to use excessive negative camber and body mods to make them look a bit better it's your choice but the bottom line is it's the wrong size wheel. My .02

with 17x9 +45, you can get the rears to sit flush. You need to go at least 2.5 degrees of negative camber, and you need slight fender pull when you get them rolled.

255 with -2.5 camber does not stick out past the fender. You will want to run at least -2 camber which really is not excessive at all. I think you will be happy with the end result.

that looks great man! I was panning on running UK spec alignment at least which is -2 in the back anyway. Buddy clubs showed up in the mail today so its time to get these sitting flush
