Default RS4 or RT615k+

So I'm looking at upgrading to AP2v3 wheels for the spring and I haven't chosen a tire yet. I'm currently running Bridgestone Potenza RE760s on my stock 16" wheels.
I plan to put 255/40s on the rear and 225/45s on the front.

I like the look of the Falken tires but it has pretty bad ratings for the rain so now I'm thinking go with Hancook. They're out of stock right now but I expect them to get more in come spring.

Anyone running a similar setup or can suggest a better alternative? In the long run, I'd love the RS4s but I'm not sure when the stock will come back... meanwhile the Azenis are in stock.

I'd go with the RS4 over the 615K+. All around a better tire.

whatever you choose, will be miles ahead of those RE760's. I have no rain issues with the RT615K. But, I'd go with the RS-4.

I run the RT615K because it's cheaper. I sincerely doubt you'll notice the difference between the two.

Loved the Azenis but again my car never sees rain or snow.

Are you planning to track or autocross this car? If not, why not look at the Pilot Super Sport or PS4+? Or the new Continental that superceded the DW? They're quieter, last longer, way better in rain, and you'll never find the limitations of the rs4/rt615k+ on the street anyways.

ExtremeContact comes in 255/40, though dropping down to a 245/40 isn't going to make a huge difference in grip especially if this is for predominantly street driving.

Despite what came on the CR, a 255 is already slightly pinched on a 9, it's even more pinched on a 8.5. 255 on a 9.5 or a 10 does improve steering feel/turn-in. It also increases air volume.

Go on?

I like my RT615k+ as street tires, have always heard RS3/4 were kinda butt on the street.
