Default Rubbing Issue with 18In Volks

I have Volks LE28n with an inch Prokit drop. I am still having some rubbing issue when hit a small dip. I was wondering if the rim is suppose to be out right under the fender or if its suppose to tuck in the fender? Does anyone have this problem?

I am running....
Front 18x7.5 +50 offset with Pirelli Nero M+S 225/40/18 tires
Rear 18x8.5 +47 offset with Pirelli Nero M+S 255/35/18 tires

Is the rim suppose to be right out under the fenders common or will getting thinner tires help the problem? or is something really wrong here?

Sounds like you've just got too much width between the wheel/tire combo and that offset for the wheels. What tires are you running, out of curiosity?

You're going to have to figure out your preferred method for that fender if you want to keep the wheels and the drop.

I'm running 17x9 +65 rear Volks, quite dropped with no issues. But these wheels were hunted for in cold blood.

I don't think there is anything wrong, 18" Volks don't really have the proper offset. You have wider rims with wider tires with way less offset than stock and an inch drop.

Aside from the 17" Le28 or Ce28 most Volks fit poorly imho.

That Looks like the proper offset for that wheel/size combo. I think it has to do with your drop more than the wheels. I'm running the same Tires, Wheels size and offset on VOLK GT-N's, and I never Rub. The difference is my car isn't lowered...

I think the rubbing issue is all around because I noticed some paint chips coming off the fenders. I checked, the offsets are correct with the right tire combo. What is the thinner tire combo should i get to avoid this problem because i am considering to get coilovers for a lower drop?
